It's a hard balance, but one my kids are used to. I admire the way you wrote this - open and honest.MommaKisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09443553798728370645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8084510994847730748.post-12106725308005569322011-08-03T18:39:21.279-04:002011-08-03T18:39:21.279-04:00What a funny, extremely honest and thoughtful post...What a funny, extremely honest and thoughtful post! Love it! You put things perfectly. The other is not always is it "choice", sometimes women and/or men cannot have babies. A lot of people out there don't think about that when they are asking why you aren't having kids. People just assume. Great job.<br />SuzanneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8084510994847730748.post-24516242257792013902011-07-28T11:08:27.819-04:002011-07-28T11:08:27.819-04:00This is a very well-written post. I often guide myself by doing the opposite of the first thing that comes to my mind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8084510994847730748.post-41929980620879006742011-07-27T09:11:10.864-04:002011-07-27T09:11:10.864-04:00Thank you! No, being selfish would be having the kids anyway and not changing your life for them. I'm being a realist. The world needs mommies. Frankly there aren't enough of them. But it also needs cool aunts. I always thought I would be a mom, it wasn't until I got older that I realized I had other plans. I don't honestly think I'm strong enough to be a mom, so kudos to you for stepping up to the challenge.Kellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05835418660606605360noreply@blogger.com
